Commonly used for spicy rice cakes (ddeokbokki) these are chewy rice cakes in the shape of a cylinder. Though called "rice cakes" they may also be made with flour. These can be called mil ddeok (밀떡) though the package may still say rice cakes. 

You can find them in the refrigerated section in Korean grocery stores or freshly made usually by the cash register by other rice cakes.
